Front-End Developer (WordPress)
About the role
We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer (WordPress) to create modern, responsive, and high-performing websites. You will work closely with designers, developers, and digital marketing teams to build engaging user experiences while ensuring websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and scalability.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites using modern front-end technologies.
- Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, mobile-friendly web pages.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
- Build reusable components using Elementor, Gutenberg, or custom templates.
- Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and page speed.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
- Troubleshoot website issues and perform regular maintenance and updates.
- Stay current with WordPress, front-end technologies, and industry best practices.
Nice to have:
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Gutenberg, and WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with PHP and WordPress theme development.
- Experience using Git, GitHub, or other version control systems.
- Understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and website performance optimization.
- Experience with page builders, custom post types, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Passion for clean code, attention to detail, and continuous learning.
